Future Spaces

Fiction Design
Graphic Design
Future Spaces was a workshop with a focus on fiction design methods, such as speculation and the perceptual bridge. I chose to observe the present from the future perspective in order to create awareness around the evolution of technology. By making an assumption that a lot of the items that we use daily will no longer exist, I created a design probe from the future – a catalogue of 200 most commonly used everyday items from 2014. The catalogue presents these objects as no longer existing – explains their function & role. It makes the viewer aware of how temporary and fragile the present is.
